Cover Story: Phenolic compounds (PFs) are naturally derived phytochemicals investigated for their antioxidant, antitumour, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antiageing, antifungal, and antithrombotic properties. Recently, the administration of resveratrol (Rsv), Curcumin (Cu), and Quercetin (Qu) in different adjuvant supplement forms was purposed due to their protective effects against diabetes, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, and bone-specific metabolism pathologies and bone resorption diseases. In addition, the recent literature is oriented towards the investigation of the effect of these nutraceutical molecules on the osseointegration process and new bone formation. View this paper
