Cover Story: Ginseng Phytochemicals in Bone Disease Management: From Mechanisms to Therapy: Ginsenosides and polysaccharides from ginseng demonstrate multi-target therapeutic potential against bone-related pathologies. This review synthesizes 2014–2024 evidence on ginseng phytochemicals' anti-osteosarcoma, anti-osteoporotic, and anti-osteoarthritic actions across in vitro, in vivo, and clinical models. In osteosarcoma, they inhibit tumor progression through synergistic pathways and combination strategies. In osteoporosis, these compounds activate osteoblasts and suppress osteoclast activity. In osteoarthritis, ginsenosides reduce inflammation and protect cartilage. We critically analyze molecular mechanisms while addressing bioavailability challenges and model limitations. The work outlines future translational directions for harnessing ginseng's pharmacology in precision bone health interventions. View this paper
