Cover Story: Chronic endometritis (CE) is a major obstacle to successful pregnancy, directly contributing to infertility, Recurrent Implantation Failure (RIF), and Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion (RSA). Diagnostic accuracy has evolved beyond traditional hysteroscopy by also considering blind sampling techniques to analyze key biomarkers, specifically CD138+ plasma cells and altered CD56+ Natural Killer (NK) cells. Modern clinical frameworks leverage advanced diagnostics—such as molecular microbiome sequencing, cytokine profiling, and AI-assisted hysteroscopy—to guide a structured “therapeutic ladder.” This management strategy could benefit targeted antibiotics like doxycycline, and graduates to immunomodulation, localized therapies, and cutting-edge regenerative medicine (like stem cells and exosomes) to ultimately optimize uterine receptivity and IVF success rates. View this paper
